I made an appointment to have my transmission checked out because of seriously reduced gas mileage and lack of engine performance. I called three different transmission/ auto repair shops and the first thing I was told was " We need to do a diagnostic test ranging from 99.00 to 189.00. Lake city transmission told me a different story. He said" Bring it on down and I'll have my tech drive it and see if any problem stands out. If there is a problem and we cant spot it right off , we might have to do a deep dive and do a diagnostic test." The tech took me and the car for a test drive and told me " You dont have a transmission issue , something is clogging your exhaust system" I asked if he could recommend a shop to get it checked and fixed . He recommended one, and didn't charge me a dime. Low and behold my catalytic converter was clogged . To me, that's the way to do business instead of charging a fee just to walk through the door. I highly recommend Lake City Transmission. The techs and the owner are good honest people.

My service experience was absolutely AMAZING, they were helpful professional and made me feel at ease. I took my 2011 Honda CRV because she was leaking transmission fluid all over my garage floor and trust me some of the prices I got before I went to Lake City Transmission was simply ridiculous. They are truly HELPFUL, REASONABLE and BUDGET friendly. My old BETSY as I call her, has not leaked one drop of oil since I picked her up from the shop. If I could have given them more than a 5 star I would. keep up the GREAT WORK!!! MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

These guys are amazing. I brought in a 06 Lexus that had a rear main seal leak and a transmission leak, as well as needing a rear differential. Not only did they save me a tremendous amount of money but when I paid and picked up the car, it truly drives like it was brand new without any noise. Definitely recommend coming here to get any tranmission work done.

These guys are the best... They fixed my transmission in my 2006 Cadillac. It runs like brand new. Certified transmission specialist. 12 month warranty. Family owned. Great spirits. I absolutely love my new found family. God thank U for letting me find this place. Skip the dealership. You will not be disappointed. Very honest. I love these guys....
